When like-minded people get together, start talking, collaborating and scheming, amazing things can happen. The Blogger Union is a nation-wide organization that represents bloggers who are “united for the common goal of growing and thriving together — all while building lasting friendships with like-minded, creative entrepreneurs.”
With chapters all over the US, and currently represented in Italy, it’s a fast-growing organization that rallies around the battle cry, ‘collaboration over competition’. Here in Greenville, three local bloggers saw the need for a blogger support group to exist and co-founded the Greenville Bloggers Union. Now, with growing social channels, well-known speakers on the books, and new faces constantly joining, it’s quickly becoming a valuable group for creative entrepreneurs, influencers, and creators.
Monthly meet-ups unite the group and speakers focus on relevant topics like SEO, email marketing, and finding your target audience. Each meeting offers something for every blogger. New bloggers are able to get up to speed on best blogging practices, while seasoned bloggers have opportunities to connect, network, and hone their ideas.
Hosted in several locations around the Upstate, including Coffee Underground (this Thursday, July 13 at 6pm), Grateful Brew, Liz Daly Designs, and Textile Hall, the monthly events often feature local, small business owners looking to collaborate with bloggers and area speakers who are well versed in the topic of the month.
If you’re a blogger in the Greenville area and are looking to participate in idea-generating discussions and valuable takeaways to boost your blogging knowledge, join the Greenville Blogger Union on Facebook and follow them on Instagram @greenvillebloggerunion to stay up-to-date with meeting dates and locations.
