Whether you’re a buyer or a seller in Greenville housing’s market, Jeremy Russell & Associates of RE/MAX are a team of real estate professionals that you ought to know. Let’s go meet the leader of the team himself, Jeremy Russell & Associates of RE/MAX.
360: You have a few new certifications — tell us about those. Congrats by the way!
Jeremy: Thank you. Yes, I recently received my brokers license. Most real estate agents have a salesperson’s license, and only a small percentage take the extra time and preparation to get the additional education to get a broker’s license. I also recently obtained the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation. Meaning that I’ve completed additional training and have proven performance, knowledge and experience in the upper-tier luxury market. This is just another resource to better serve my clients – both buyers, and sellers.
New certifications continued…
Jeremy: Lastly, our team, Jeremy Russell & Associates, worked extremely hard serving our clients in 2017 and we ended up the #1 RE/MAX Team in the Upstate! We are extremely grateful to all our previous clients who refer us, and all the new clients we have met.
360: Describe the Greenville housing market right now. What kind of market is it?
Jeremy: Now is a great time to sell, inventory is low in many areas and there are more buyers out there than homes for sale – which is great news for sellers! Interest rates are still low, so now is a great time to get a home, but you need to act fast. Houses go under contract quick, so if you delay, you may lose your opportunity. The increase of tourism has made the Greenville market boom.
360: What new developments are most excited about?
New developments continued…
Jeremy: The downtown housing footprint is also continuing to expand, with more and more residential revitalization areas coming up. This enables more buyers to be able to live convenient to downtown, and take advantage of future equity growth down the road.
360: Do you have any advice for first time home buyers in Greenville?
First time home buyers continued…
Jeremy: I also strongly recommend using a buyer’s agent when looking at new construction. Most buyers don’t know that the on-site agents at new neighborhoods actually represent the builder. Having your own buyer’s agent can ensure your needs are looked after, and can even give some advice on options and return on investment.
360: If a buyer wanted to search for houses online, what is a good resource?
Jeremy: Our website is a great resource for searching for houses in the Upstate. We also have very informative blogs for buyers/sellers to check out. They can go to: www.RealEstateOfGreenvilleSC.com.
360: What’s coming soon for you in 2018?
360: When you’re not selling homes, what do you do for fun? Go!
Jeremy: I love to spend time with my family (my wife and two young kids.) When it’s warm, we enjoy taking our boat out on the lake, going camping, or riding bikes on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We love the outdoors! Also, when I have the opportunity, I like to go mountain biking at local trails in the area. There is some good riding around here and a great network for the mountain biking and road biking community.
360: That’s great. Thank you, Jeremy! Congrats again on your new certifications.
