What better way to welcome spring than with fresh produce? Stop by Project Host, a local organization and soup kitchen that works to “use food as a tool to nourish the hungry and train the unemployed,” and purchase flowers, vegetables, houseplants and more from their community garden. All proceeds benefit Project Host programs!

Friday: TR Town & Art Crawl in Travelers Rest 6-9pm
Come experience everything Travelers Rest has to offer at their kick-off crawl! This month’s theme is Earth Day/Parks & Trails, complete with Smokey the Bear, rock painting at My Sister’s Store, live music at The Grove from 5-9 pm, a representative from the US Forest Service on hand to answer questions, and even more activities provided by Greenville Rec! Friday: Forestry Friday on the Farm at Arran Farms in Easley 6-8:30pm
This April’s Modern Forestry Friday’s will feature their Spring Market at this beautiful 80-acre Arran Farms. They’ll have everything from Upstate makers, food trucks, live music and candle making for $7 per person.

Saturday: Upstate Heart Walk at GHS Cardiothoracic Surgery 9am
The American Heart Association is partnering with Greenville Hospital System for this year’s Upstate Heart Walk to fight heart disease and stroke in our community! Learn more and register here as a team, team member or individual.

Saturday: 4th Anniversary at The Southern Growl 12-11pm
Celebrate with The Southern Growl as they turn 4! They’ll have 15 barrel-aged beers, live music from 3 different local bands, and special “best of the best” menu, featuring all of the most popular items from the past 4 years. Pets and children are welcome, but guests must be 21+ with a valid ID in order to consume alcohol. Happy birthday, SG!

Saturday: 5th Annual Saison Day at Birds Fly South 2-9pm
Join this 5th annual Allagash Brewing Company celebration of saisons. Sunday: Good Ol’ Music Series at Brewery 85 2-4pm
It’s good ol’ music and good ol’ beer. We can’t think of a better way to end the weekend! Brewery 85 concert series rolls on featuring artists with a unique local sound, and the whole family is invited! Music starts at 2pm, and food truck will be servicing up starting at 1pm. Seating is BYO or first come first serve, so be sure to arrive early! PS, there are only 3 Sundays left.

Sunday: Safe Kids Day at The Greenville Drive 3:30-7pm
Enjoy a relaxing fun baseball game with the family, all while participating in a worthy cause! Safe Kids Upstate, a local group within the Bradshaw Institute for Community Child Health & Advocacy will be hosting interactive games, giveaways, a Safety Patrol Parade and more!
