Farm Fresh Fast has officially launched the city’s first ever “No Kill” menu a few months ago and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.
The menu contains a variety of 5 viciously satisfying dishes that celebrates and honors all living beings.
Not only did Jonathan Willis, owner of FFF, give the new menu a bold, heartfelt name, but his passion for bringing quality, cruelty-free ingredients is clear with every bite.
One of my favorite things about Greenville is it’s passionate business owners. Not every small city is this lucky enough to have places that offer at least one cruelty-free, plant-based vegan option – let alone a full-on menu!
Wow. Just wow.
As someone who eats and lives a cruelty-free lifestyle, it’s easy to see the negative side of almost everything non-vegan thing society has to offer. I try to check in daily and ask myself – how lucky am I to have a community thats growing and spreading a positive message? How lucky am I to be part of that message and to show support to businesses with a genuine drive to help make it all possible?
How lucky I am indeed.
Jonathan is one of those business owners that doesn’t just own a restaurant to cook and sell food. He has a passion for health and wellness and sharing it with the #yeahTHATgreenville community. He’s expressed a numerous amounts of times how he strives to offer the most vegan options here in town. How incredible is that!?
For me, the hardest part of going vegan has been the desire to show unconditional compassion towards not just animals, but myself and others. My intentions may be good, but they don’t always translate though the things I say or write.
Sure, “giving up” cheese was hard, but what can sometimes be harder is the act of showing love and support to those who may not live my lifestyle or share my beliefs. I’ve learned that those are the people that can truly help make a difference in our society and bring this lifestyle to it’s fruition. Their open-mindedness to explore our lifestyle and show support, even in the smallest way possible, is everything. It’s the perfect ying and yang that produces growth, education, and love.
Veganism is love. We can try our best to eat cruelty-free, but when we show love, we are living our message.
I am grateful for Jonathan and his team’s efforts to show endless kindness and support towards our lifestyle. They are part of a movement that is so much grater than us all and every effort makes a difference.
Thanks to their No Kill menu, our message is being vastly multiplied. Their food is delicious, and shows people how easy it is to give up eating animal bi-products. This fills my heart with joy and love.
So what else makes Farm Fresh Fast so awesome?
Not only is their food good, but the space provides a wonderful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to channel your inner Magnolia, farm-house style… or at least mine!
Jonathan and his team focus on using locally sourced produce from farms throughout the upstate. He gets his produce from farms like Thicketty Mountain Farm & Sky Top Orchard.
I’ve had the privilege of trying 3 of the menus featured meals: The Ancient Grains Bowl, The Buffalo Wrap, and the Buddha Bowl.
If you’re in the Greenville area or just visiting, I recommend checking this place out. Farm Fresh Fast is convenient, delicious, and truly a Greenville Gem! A Major thank you to Jonathan and his awesome crew for bringing us fantastic plant-based, cruelty-free options!
Make your own Buddha Bowl? I’d love to know what combo you picked! Be sure to comment below!
I chose brown rice, Korean BBQ tofu, zucchini, mushrooms, greens, and chickpeas! They also added some No Evil Foods meat and it was DELISH.
Until next time,
✌
