Art in the Park at PKL Park
CALL FOR ARTISTS
Be part of history at Art in the Park — our first bi-annual celebration at PKL Park, spotlighting the incredible legacy of Greenville’s Southernside Community. We’re looking for local artists to showcase their work (commission-based). Limited spots available — tents welcome!
Friday, August 15th | 6–9pm (Set-up at 5pm)
Featuring jazz + blues performances honoring the musical roots of Mark V Studios
Special guest: Community activist Mary Duckett
This event will honor the muralists whose art lines the PKL Park border with Mayberry Park, telling the powerful story of transformation — from Mark V Recording Studio to the Greenville Black Spinners legacy and Mary Duckett’s impact. Come create, connect, and contribute to the rich history still unfolding in the Southernside Community.
