Ask SC: A Conversation with SC Humanities invites people across South Carolina to come together for open, engaging conversations about the stories, history, and ideas that shape our communities. Designed to be welcoming and interactive, each event creates space for participants to ask questions, share perspectives, and connect with one another. This event is part of a seven-stop tour across South Carolina designed to introduce the organization’s new Executive Director, Jennifer “Bingo” Gunter, and invite open dialogue with communities across the state. In partnership with the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, the evening will feature SC Humanities board member and Dean and VP for Arts and Academics, Dr. Jennifer Thomas and guest speaker West Hyler of the South Carolina New Play Festival.
