Bringing up the Rear: A Colon Cancer Awareness Event at Holland Park

Colorectal Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the United States. Screenings are the most powerful tool available to prevent and detect colon cancer at an early stage. March is observed as colorectal cancer awareness month and we are working to get the message out- early detection saves lives!
Did you know that the screening guidelines have changed recently and are to start screening at age 45. Come join them with your family and friends for the 2nd Annual Colon Cancer Awareness 5K on Saturday, March 8th at Holland Park from 9:30am-noon. The event is in collaboration with the national non-profit Colon Cancer Coalition, promoting prevention for more than 2 decades!
The event is open to all ages. Registration fee: $25 includes a T shirt, bib, some swag, water & snacks
