‘Tis the season for gift giving & entertaining. Fa la la la la. It’s time to lace up your running shoes as you sprint through the mall, crossing people off of your shopping list. You’ll run through the grocery store, grabbing a turkey & all the trimmings to complete your holiday meals. To keep up with the season, it’s important to stay healthy & in shape. So take a break from the gift wrapping & tree trimming and run in the Sugar Creek’s Jingle Bell Jog on Saturday, December 8th!
The races begin at Sugar Creek III Clubhouse in Greer. You choose the best race distance for you – the Jingle Bell Jog 5k or Elf Run (3/4 mile). The Jingle Bell Jog begins at 3pm & the Elf Run begins at 2:15pm.
Your whole family can join in the festive fun. All ages are welcome for both races. Strollers are allowed, so be sure to bring your little elves! Your fur-baby can run the race too, just remember to keep a leash on your dog.
100% of proceeds will be donated to the Frazee Center and Daily Bread Ministries (Greer Soup Kitchen.) The Frazee Center is a free program offering after-school care, summer school and preschool for under-resourced children and teenagers. The program focuses on teaching children in their programs the importance of character, emotional health and sportsmanship. The Greer Soup Kitchen, which is a part of Daily Bread Ministries, is a local organization with a mission to feed the hungry. Over one hundred and fifty meals are served daily at their kitchen. Since 2008, Sugar Creek Fun Runs have donated over $110,000 to these organizations!
