Noises Off at Pickens County Performing Arts Center
Noises Off is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud farce by acclaimed British playwright Michael Frayn. First premiering in 1982, the play offers a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at a struggling theater company as everything that can go wrong… does.
Inspired by Frayn’s own experience watching a farce unfold from backstage, Noises Off flips the curtain around to reveal the chaos, mishaps, and comedic disasters that happen out of the audience’s view. The result is a brilliantly crafted comedy packed with slamming doors, missed cues, and nonstop physical humor.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest farces ever written, Noises Off promises an unforgettable night of theatrical mayhem and big laughs.
