Rufus Lee and The Handful hales from Greenville, SC, getting its start when singer/songwriter Donnie Blackwell teamed up with a who’s who of the finest talent in the Upstate of South Carolina! The band is experienced, tight and diverse, its members sharing stages with the likes of 38 Special, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Need to Breathe, The Marshall Tucker Band, and many others. Rufus Lee churns out unique and catchy Americana-influenced originals, as well as reimagined covers that range from Nirvana to The Cars to Johnny Cash. The band delivers live shows that bring all the spirit and vibes of outlaw honky-tonk grit with a guitar-driven, rock n’ roll edge!
