You might have heard about a little new business community that recently opened in the West End of Downtown Greenville called Gather GVL. The new outside food hall features 13 delicious options each in their own storage container!
We recently got the chance to meet one of Gather’s developers, Doug Cross and he said the idea started with his son Mack Cross’ (co-developer) desire to create a place where his young family could gather and thrive. Doug went on the say, “We spent months researching dynamic projects around the country and world, and then crafted the vision for Gather to fit the Greenville community and this specific site.”
Here’s our official guide on each business and what to expect! Do not proceed if you are hungry…

Some of Doug’s favorite components to Gather are the Food & Drink rail seats on the second level. He went on to say, “By far the best place to people watch and take in the constant action happening on the main level. The unlimited potential of the stage and lawn. Of course Gather GVL will host live music regularly, but we also have plans for pop-up retail, seasonal markets, holiday events, fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, etc. Another thing I am excited to see is how people customize their own experience at Gather (among the many different food and beverage, seating, and programming options.) We will know we did our jobs well if no two Gather experiences are the same.”
You can find out even more info about Gather GVL here. You can also follow them along on social media via Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 7am-10pm, Sunday 7am-8pm and closed on Mondays. Happy Gathering!
