As West Greenville continues to grow, Poe West is the newest kid on the block already fit right into The Village of West Greenville. Bringing in more local business charm that focuses on community.
Poe West is a collaborative business center that currently houses 8 different local businesses ranging from food and drinks, management services to a training center. AND they have more space still available!
Robert Poppleton, Development Manager at the The Furman Co., has been involved in the Poe West project since ideation in 2016. “In that time, we started trying to identify what can we do to make a difference? We didn’t just want more rentable loft space; we wanted something greater. We wanted to provide employment and job training that was walkable for the surrounding community”.
From there, they landed on the historic property that Poe West sits on today, with a focus on local business and the community. The long-term goal is to continue to provide the community with jobs, education, as well as continuing to bring in a wide variety of industries.

98 Ventures, an executive management services company that supports companies across vast industries. They specialize in human resources, accounting, risk management, communications and lots more. For more details click here.
Thirsty and hungry? Carolina Bauernhaus Brewery & Winery is a great spot to hang out. The brewery features a 3,000 square foot covered outdoor patio with hammocks, tables and corn hole. They also serve up wide variety of wine and beer selections with pretzels and charcuterie boards.
Have a sweet tooth? Then LaRue Fine Chocolates is the perfect spot for you! Featuring hand-made artisan truffles, creme brulee, chocolate mousse, cheese boards, wine and more. For more details click here.
Eighty-Twenty Cafe is a quaint cafe for simple, seasonal and healthy foods. Their entrance is also connected to The Junkyard, a training center where members compete in results driven workout with music. These two work in tandem with each other as one helps push your body to train, while the other helps fuel, replenish and nourish your body.
This collaborative set-up is also home to Greenville Technical College’s Center for Culinary Hospitality & Innovation, the education and training future of hospitality workers. The center also takes features real commercial kitchen with equipment and more! For more details click here.
This space also houses the Greenville Tech Foundation. The non-profit organization that strives to help students with tuition, books and equipment, as well as providing teachers with educational opportunities.
Unlocked Coffee Roasters is a roastery and coffee shop that focuses on speciality coffee to stay or take home. They also serve up seasonal drinks, smoothies, fruit bowls, toast and more. For more info click here.
Then last but not least, Six & Twenty Distillery is coming soon to Bay 103. An artisan distillery that makes craft spirits using only local Carolina grains. More details to come!
