If you’re not one of those people who just can’t wait to fight frantic shoppers in your pajamas on Black Friday, we’ve got great news for you! Shopping local takes on new meaning with Greenville events following Black Friday. Sunny (let’s hope it’s sunny) Sunday, December 1, from 11:30am-3:30pm, everyone’s invited downtown for the 4th Annual Holiday Market at Camperdown.
More than thirty-five local vendors will be selling everything from candy and candles to ornaments and jewelry. One particular vendor, Hands Producing Hope, affords buyers the opportunity to help artisans in three regions around the world. You’ll want to check out their website to learn about this amazing program.
The Greenville Drive will set up shop with all the team merchandise. Reedy Rip’It will be on hand to meet and greet fans. Youngest family members will be excited to meet the season’s special guest, Santa Claus! Brave little ones can have their pictures made with the jolly ole man. Take part in all the activities on the plaza while enjoying live entertainment. You do not want to miss this day of fun for the whole family!
The Greenville Convention Center turns into a Winter Wonderland when the Holiday Fair collides with the Rotary Club’s Kringle Holiday Village. Greenville’s traditional Holiday Fair celebrates fifty-five years with over 400 vendors. The Fair is one of the most successful holiday markets in the southeast. Local artisans are joined by vendors from around the country to showcase their talents. Meander through displays with items for everyone on your shopping list.
If time spent shopping doesn’t describe your ideal day, the Winter Wonderland offers so much more! Since 2021, the Greenville Drive and Rotary Club of Greenville have hosted the Kringle Holiday Village at Fluor Field. December 5-7, Kringle Holiday Village moves to The Greenville Convention Center to join the Holiday Fair. This huge celebration will include a main stage with live bands, dance troupes, choirs and many other performers throughout the three day event. Check the website for times/dates to plan your visit. Built into the price of admission is a trip to the North Pole Children’s Play Area. Youngest family members can make crafts and have snowball fights in the snowball area. Everyone will want to take a ride on the Grand Carousel before entering Santa’s Workshop.
Mark these three days in December on your calendar and add them to the top of your “Christmas To Do List.”
Greenville is a great place to shop local and have lots of fun while knocking out your entire Christmas list in just a few days!
