Meet Dustin Pelletier of Big Air
5 years ago Upstate resident Dustin Pelletier set out to a create family friendly attraction. Enter Big Air, an indoor trampoline park that is locally owned and operated with one simple mission: to provide fun for the whole family! To better understand that mission, we recently got the chance to chat with the owner of Big Air in Greenville and Spartanburg. Without further ado, let’s go meet Dustin Pelletier of Big Air!
360: How did the idea for Big Air come to life?
Dustin: We decided to choose the Big Air franchise because they offer so many different varieties of attractions, they offer a full service cafe, they intentionally focus on making the park “mom friendly” and they place a large priority on the customer experience.
360: What’s your favorite part of your job?
Dustin: My favorite part of working at Big Air is coming out into the play areas and seeing and hearing all the kids laughing and having a great time. It melts my heart and reminds me why we decided to build Big Air to begin with. I think it is a great honor and responsibility to be a part of building great memories for our community.

Different from the rest continued…
Dustin: Our cafe allows our guests to enjoy tasty food that is cooked fresh to order. Our locations are cleaned continuously and safely designed. Instead of bare concrete, we have padded flooring, tile and carpet. From the music, seating areas and fast wi-fi, our locations are designed not just for kids to enjoy, but for parents to relax too.
360: Is there anything new coming to Big Air that you can share with us?
Dustin: We are always searching for new and exciting attractions to add to our locations. In summer 2021 we will be adding a brand new attraction to our Spartanburg location. It will be called Spin Cycle. It’s a fun ride where up to 4 guests get to strap in and go for a tumbling spin. This attraction will be included in the regular admission price.
Coming soon to Big Air continued…
Dustin: Also this summer we will also be launching a whole new way to play. We will be adding a 15,000 square foot section to Big Air called ARENA X. In this section, players get to explore the two-story arena and navigate through 25 different elements while they search for over 125 hidden beacons. The beacons have different point values to them. Collect as many beacons as possible to gain a high score. ARENA X is first of its kind in the US and we are excited to open later this summer. Visit ArenaXusa.com for more details.
Dustin: When we aren’t at Big Air, my family and I love to visit locally owned movie theaters like Camelot and NCG. We usually see a few movies every month. We also love to go hiking around some of our great trails in the area to visit waterfalls. Although my wife says she hates it, she always has fun spending time together as a family.
360: That’s awesome. Thank you for your time and the Big Air passion you bring to the Upstate community. We can’t wait to check out ARENA X soon!
