Meet Prema Van Deren of NEXT High School…
My name is Prema Van Deren, and I’m a junior at NEXT High School. I’ll be 17 years old this fall.
I’m so excited to be working as an intern for Greenville360 during my Fall/Winter semester. I’m passionate about environmental conservation, and I’ve loved animals and nature for as long as I can remember. I love visual art, fashion design, good food, and travel.
I was given this opportunity through my school, and I’m grateful to be interning in a field that I’m passionate and experienced in. Designing prints and patterns, doodling, and writing are things I do every day, and I’ve always been very inspired by nature and people. I’ve been writing and drawing since I was really young, and I’m planning to pursue art and design in college as well.
Being at Greenville360 for me means doing something that I love, like photography and journalist writing, and gaining more experience in other areas like marketing and connecting with people professionally. I’ll be posting photos and writing a lot about food, family-friendly events, artsy coffee shops, and cool hidden gems in Greenville and the Upstate. I hope to tap into and connect with an audience of students my age who share my love for art, people, animals, and food!
I’m so excited to be with Greenville360, and I can’t wait to help showcase everything Greenville has to offer!
Signing off for now,
Prema Van Deren
