I’m back, Greenville!
It’s time for another Sportsclub360 Experience update! Since I last checked in with you I have been busy working out with my new personal trainer Ricky through the iStart program. I’m just about to finish up with my last training session today. The iStart program is available for every new member and comprises of 3x 1-on-1 personal training sessions by highly qualified trainers. This is very beneficial for anyone joining a new gym, whether you have been stepping in a gym everyday for the last 10 years or this is your first time getting a gym membership.
The first session was very educational on everything the Sportsclub offers and for the trainer to better understand your goals and fitness level. My trainer offered me some class recommendations that would be great to hit my goals and also some machines that are very beneficial that they have, like the rowing machine. After sitting down for about 5 minutes, we began the workout. I wanted to focus on arms and abs for this workout and Ricky did a great job at making sure I got in my workout for the day. Even though I have been at the gym for many months now he showed me exercise machines and bands that I had never used. It’s funny how you can get so stuck in your everyday routine and miss some very beneficial aspects of the gym.
At the end of the session, Ricky did a great job of summarizing what exercises he had me do and why. He then listened to what body region I wanted to focus on next and I picked legs. Let’s just say after that session my legs where very sore in a good way! One thing that I was so impressed by at the Sportsclub is the number of trainers and class instructors they have available for any questions.
This iStart program is such a great perk of the Sportsclub for all new members to learn more about the gym and even make a connection with a trainer for any questions that may arise while working out. I’m so excited to see what the rest of my Sportsclub360 Experience brings me in my workout and Sportsclub journey. I will be back in just two weeks with another update because a month is just too long to go without an update!
Stay active!
