33rd Annual Greenville Greek Festival at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 10:30am-9:30pm
Whoa it’s 33rd annual! Featuring their beautiful Greek Orthodox Cathedral, traditional Greek food, dancing vendors and more. The festival continues this weekend on Saturday 10:30am-9:30pm and Sunday 11:30am-8pm. For more info click here.

3rd Annual Flipside Arts Fest at Birds Fly South 3-9pm
The annual alternative art fest returns! They’ll be hosting artists from all around the Upstate and beyond. Also happening on Saturday 12-7pm.

Sippin’ in Simpsonville along Downtown Simpsonville 6-10pm
It’s a wine tasting tour of Simpsonville’s downtown shops and local businesses! Check-in will be at the Chamber office, located at 100 West Trade Street. You can buy tickets here.

2 Years of Beer Dance Party at 13 Stripes Brewery 7pm-1am
Celebrating 2 years of beer! They’ll be dancing the night away dressed up in leisure suites, dresses and anything that glows under a blacklight. Also featuring a “Glow Station”, special beer release and more.

This month’s brunch special includes French Toast Casserole, bacon, fruit and a mimosa. You can purchase just the food for $15. Second (or third) mimosas will be available for $6. Brunch plates are while supplies last. Cheers!

The Missing Peace: Sensory Friendly Yoga at Soul Yoga 1-1:45pm
Join yoga teacher Claire Gutbrod and therapist Emily Higgins for a FREE class for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder, and their parents to discover the benefits of practicing yoga together.

Medio de Mayo Paella & Spanish Wine Party at Community Tap 5-8pm
Join them on this “middle of May” day event, as Chef Daniel Lopez of Time to Taste Catering cooks up authentic Spanish paella. They’ll also be featuring meats & cheeses of Spain, all paired with a variety of delicious Spanish wines. Dinner will promptly be served at 5:45pm. You can buy your tickets here.

3rd Annual Woof & Wine with Lucky Pup Rescue at City Scape Winery 6-8:30pm
Leave your pups at home and join them for an evening of local wine, beautiful scenery and a silent auction benefit to Lucky Pup Rescue. Your ticket includes the tasting of 3 wines, a glass of your favorite wine, light snacks and a souvenir wine glass. You can buy your tickets here.

2nd Annual NEXT High School Benefit Concert at 13 Stripes Brewery 6-9pm
Join the 2nd annual fundraiser to raise money for NEXT High School’s first school-owned van. Last year we raised over $9,000 through ticket sales, silent auction and donations. Featuring live music from Randomonium, silent auction and more.

The NESS Fest Ticket Launch at Legacy Early College 11:30am-1pm
It’s the official kick off The Ness Fest 2019 with a FREE community workout with Sportsclub Fitness & Wellness at Legacy Early College, home of the Greenville Triumph. Tickets for The NESS Fest 2019 (October 19-20!) will go on-sale and the full schedule will be released to the public for the first time.

Paint by Human: Community Mural with Adam Schrimmer at Birds Fly South 12-6pm
Come help and paint with local artist Adam Schrimmer as he designs an incredible mural at Hampton Station. “Be a Voice, Not an Echo” will be a community painted project, so grab a beer, brush and help them give life to this special project.
