Opening Reception for “A Strange Path” by Kara Bender with MAC at Centre Stage 6-8pm
Meet local artist Kara Bender and experience her new exhibit called “A Strange Path.” Kara Bender’s paper constructions and illustrations explore North American culture in the United States through myths, proverbs, and personal experiences. Using layered paper, ink, and other various media, she creates symbolic works that reflect on contemporary issues. Her detailed process brings depth and tension to familiar stories, inviting viewers to look closer at the emotional layers that lie beneath. All are welcome to join!
