Food Drive with Harvest Host for Upstate SC Hurricane Helene Relief at Camperdown Plaza 9am-6pm

Fall Fest 2.0 at Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery 10am-8pm
Join their rescheduled Fall Fest with a portion of the sales from apples, apple cider floats and a selection of Asheville based products donated to hurricane relief efforts. Featuring a day filled with League of Women Voters from 10am-2pm, mobile bookstore from 11am-2pm, Kids Crafts from 2-6pm, a Fall basket GIVEAWAY, face paintings from 2:30-6pm, apple sampling & holiday preorder menu sampling, menu specials all day and more.

Fall Festival at Denver Downs Farm 5-9pm
Join the annual Fall Festival at the farm in Anderson! Featuring a pumpkin patch, corn maze, live music, farm animals and more. Fall Festival will continue every weekend through November 10th. They are also open on Saturdays from 10am-10pm and Sundays from 12-6pm. For more details and tickets click here.

Halloweekend at Big Water Marina & Campground at Lake Hartwell 5-9pm
Join them at the lake for a whole weekend long Halloween celebration of fun, frights and all things Halloween. Also featuring tons of local vendors, live music, kids activities, costume contests, a haunted trail and more throughout the weekend. Open Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 10am-2pm. Howl-O-Ween with Noble Dog Hotel + Pride Fest Collab at Hampton Station 5:30-8pm
Bring your fur babies for a scary good time! Featuring a scavenger hunt, a costume contest, Hocus Pocus screening, dog adoptions, local vendors, live music and more. For more details check out the event flyer below.

Opening Reception for The Worlds We Create with Nicole Shannon + Metropolitan Arts Council at Centre Stage 6-8pm
Meet local artist Nicole Shannon as she debuts her new exhibit called The Worlds We Create. Nicole’s exhibit examines how our thoughts shape our realities by interpreting experiences, defining what is possible and determining our trajectory. The exhibit will be on display each week on Tuesday-Friday from 2-5pm and 2 hours before each show through November 15th, 2024. PS, 30% of all artwork sales will go to the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County to support their hurricane relief work. For more details click here.

Friday Night Flicks: Encanto at Mauldin Cultural Center 7pm
Grab your popcorn and head to the Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheater every Friday evening in October for their annual outdoor movies series. Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs and relax under the stars as they feature a different film each week. Movies start at dusk. PS, outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome at this event.

Choose from two walking tours full of Greer’s wild and frightening stories, from its rough start on Trade Street to the bodies left behind in its first cemetery.
