Gather GVL named 6th Best Food Hall
The accolades just keep on comin’ (not that anyone needs another reason to visit Greenville). If you haven’t already, it’s past time to add Gather GVL to your “Gotta Eat There” List. USA Today has! USA Today Readers’ Choice awarded our favorite food hall the 6th Best Food Hall in America (that’s the whole country)! Located on Augusta Street, within walking distance of Fluor Field, Gather GVL is open rain or shine. Four-legged friends are welcome during the week. Sorry, not on weekends.
Monday – Wednesday 10 am – 9 pm
Thursday – Friday 10 am – 10 pm
Saturday – 8 am – 10 pm
Sunday – 8 am – 9 pm
Gather GVL was the brainstorm of father-son duo, Doug & Mark Cross. They dreamed of providing a venue for friends, family, and the community to meet for food and fun. Parents, it’s the place where you can enjoy a meal or beverage while your little ones act like little ones on the green. Or maybe you want to get a little work done while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Trust us, the space is perfect for all scenarios!
Who doesn’t love live music? Well, maybe not right now while temperatures are hanging around in the nineties. In cooler months, Gather schedules bands on stage during the weekends. Psst, if you’re a band and want to play at Gather GVL, email email@example.com
Fridays 5 pm – 8 pm
Saturdays 4 pm – 7 pm
In addition to live music, Gather GVL is home to a dozen restaurants. You’ll find everything from burgers and pizza to lobster – and everything in between (desserts too!) No one, regardless of age or taste, leaves Gather GVL hungry. We recommend the Green Dream pizza on cauliflower crust at Yolo Pizza Kitchen.
Parking always seems to be a deciding factor when planning a day downtown. Keep in mind, parking is FREE at County Square and only a short walk away (check the website to make sure construction is complete). Remember the Downtown Trolley and grab that schedule here. Parking in the West End lot at Gather and across the street parking is only $1/hour.
This post has sorta been like a trip to Target (you know how you go in for one thing and come out $300 later). Our goal was to let you know that USA Today loves Gather GVL as much as we do. We apologize for taking you down so many other aisles.
