End of Summer GVL Entertainment Guide
Say goodbye to summer with a song. Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays hangs with us through September 29th. Presented by Pepsi at NOMA Square, bands take the stage from 5:30-9:30pm for two sets. There is limited seating, so it’s a good idea to bring your own chair. Just don’t park yourself too close to the stage, aka, dance floor!
September music line up:
9/8 Sidecar – five piece rock and punk band
9/15 Rock and Roll Reunion – oldies/classic rock/beach/blues
9/22 Whitten Brothers Band – classic rock/beach/country
9/29 True Blues – upstate’s premier blues band
If you’re old enough to remember the old drive-in theaters, Moonlight Movies might be your ticket. Flick fans, bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the foot of the falls for World Finance Moonlight Movies in the Park.
What’s a movie without popcorn? No worries – Poppington’s Popcorn is always on hand to enhance the total movie experience. If you’re like me and hate how popcorn sticks in your teeth, local food trucks are also on site. Movies begin at sundown, but come early for trivia! Visit here for the perfect place to park your car. Reminder: no smoking or pets at downtown events. We can’t predict the weather, but we can keep our eyes on Greenville Events social media sites for regular updates and cancellations.
Movie line up:
9/7 Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade
9/14 You’ve Got Mail
9/21 Selena
9/28 Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
10/5 Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
10/19 The Truman Show

The temperatures have dropped (slightly) enough for us to enjoy being outside. Hope to see you there!
