November

First Friday Gallery Crawl with Metropolitan Arts Council around the Upstate 6-9pm
Navigate through Greenville’s visual arts scene on the first Friday of each month as local galleries and venues will be open to the public. For more details and participating artists click here.
November 12-13 (and November 11th at select studios)
Greenville Open Studios supports the local visual arts community with FREE studio tours for the public. This year features 150 artists across 100 locations in the Upstate! What began as an idea among a small group of artists to raise awareness of their practice in the greater community has evolved into a full-fledged annual event. The exciting tradition is now celebrating its 20th anniversary! Open Studios hours are: Friday, November 11th from 6-9 pm (preview evening at select studios only), Saturday, November 12th from 10am-6pm and Sunday, November 13th from 12-6pm. November 5th-December 9th
The Open Studios 12×12 Exhibit (exact title TBD)
The annual exhibit for the Open Studios event features participating artists in a unique format of small works measuring only 12 inches (squared). It is the perfect way to get a glimpse of the variety of talent in our area and start planning your tour. The show is on display November 5th-December 9th. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and during Open Studios weekend hours (including the preview night).

Inscapes: Works by Caroline Calder
Centre Stage

This new exhibit at Centre Stage will feature works by Caroline Calder.
Caroline is an artist from Greenville. She creates her art through a variety of mediums predominantly working in acrylics and mixed media while experimenting with new techniques and processes. Her work is expressive, intuitive, and contemporary in style. She uses color, form, texture, and pattern to reflect her love of the natural world and the human spirit. She hopes her work reflects joy and appreciation of life while posing optimistic questions for the future. Caroline has exhibited her work in local shows and galleries in the upstate of SC as well as in local fundraising efforts. Caroline’s work has received awards as one of the winners in the Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) 2020 Flat Out Under Pressure Juried Exhibition and her work was selected by Art Houzze in Fall 2021 to be featured on the Camperdown Art Walk in Downtown Greenville. Her works are currently available at Cottage Grove Vintage Market, and art pop pops around Greenville. For more details click here.
Centre Stage gallery is open during weekend performances and weekday box office hours: Tuesday-Friday from 2-6pm.

Featuring a side-by-side performance with the Carolina Youth Symphony Orchestra and members of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. In addition, CYS will be joined by violinist Dianna Joiner, CYS Alumna; member of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Canton Symphony Orchestra; and Akron Symphony Orchestra.
