Fall for Greenville in Downtown Greenville 5-11pm
The annual Downtown Greenville 3-day festival is back! This year will showcase 47 local restaurants serving some 250+ dishes, 70+ live musical acts and more. Festival hours are Friday 5-11pm, Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 12-5pm. PS, Taste Tickets for food and beverage are $5 for a sheet of 10 tickets. For more info and complete music lineup click here.

Artober Fest at Upcountry Provisions’ The Grove 5-9pm
Join the annual celebration of local artists and local makers at The Grove! Featuring live music, artisan style food and lots of local makers.

Friday Starry Nights at Roper Mountain Science Center 6 & 7:30pm
Join them for a night under the stars in the Hooper Planetarium! It’s a 360° full immersion dome, 4K projection, state-of-the-art lighting, dynamic 5.1 surround sound and more. The showtimes are at 6pm and 7:30pm every Friday now through November 22nd. You can buy your tickets here.

The Science of Harry Potter at Roper Mountain Science Center 9am-3pm
Part of their second Saturday special event series! Learn about the world of Harry Potter from a scientific perspective. You can buy your tickets here.
Cost: $8 for adults & teens, $7 for age 4-12 & under 3 are FREE
Fall Festival at Denver Downs 10am-10pm
It’s their annual Fall Festival! Find your way through their 10 acre corn maze, enjoy a tractor pulled hayride and more. Weekends feature bonfires, live music and their famous pig races. Fall Festival runs through Sunday, November 10th with hours of Monday-Thursday from 10am-5pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-10pm and Sunday 1-6pm. For more info and tickets click here.

Pumpkin Craving Competition at Growler Haus 1-2pm
It’s their first every pumpkin carving competition! Call (864) 373-9347 to reserve your spot and your pumpkin. Prizes for the winner! It’s $20 for a pumpkin and 2 beers or $10 for a pumpkin and non-alcoholic drinks. PS, bring whatever you need to carve.

Dog Barking Seminar at Greenville Animal Care 2-3pm
Do you have a dog who barks when there’s a knock at the door or ring of the doorbell? Join Sean Hendrickson CPDT-KA for a reward based dog training seminar. You’l learn tips and tricks to reduce barking (just in time for Halloween.) You can reserve your dog’s spot here.

Open Mic Poetry Night at Bridge City Coffee 6:30-9pm
Join them for an evening of coffee and poetry! Come prepared to share your poetry or just come to enjoy the art. Also featuring special guest Micah Kimber and hand crafted jewelry by Geminii Moon Jewelry.

Pumpkinfest at Brewery 85 1-5pm
Support Holy Cross Pumpkin Patch to help raise money for our local Habitat for Humanity! They’ll be releasing a special Pumpkin Ale and an assortment of pumpkins will be available for purchase from $5-$15 with a portion of the proceeds going to Habitat. PS, they’ll also have art supplies to paint your pumpkins!

Not-So-Spooky Puppy Pumpkin Patch at Dog Culture 1-3pm
‘Tis the season of everything pumpkin! Join their 2nd annual Puppy Pumpkin Patch & Trunk-or-Treat with 100% of pumpkin sales going to the Greenville Humane Society. You’ll also get the chance to enjoy photo ops in the Not-So-Spooky Pumpkin Patch, Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest and plenty of dog friendly vendors.
